Donate- Don’t Trash- Wedding Decor

Trashing the decor after a wedding is always the fastest way to clean-up, but doesn't aid in helping clean up our mother Earth. Got items that didn't make the “home” cut? This big day of yours only happens once. So, does your new husband actually need to buy a 3 piece suit? Unless he working on Wallstreet, RENT don’t BUY. Single-use anything is not good for the environment, no matter which way you spin your words. The fabric’s used to make your hubby’s formal attire had to come from somewhere and chances are, there isn’t a surplus of silkworms in the US. Reducing the number of goods imported into the country in-turn reduces your carbon footprint. Related, opting for rented decor and equipment such as china, glassware, and linens will automatically upgrade your wedding’s entire atmosphere by coming off as classy and elegant, with a side of reducing landfill waste head-on.

The socially conscientious couple may consider an out-of-the-box honeymoon by embarking on an Eco-tour. Eco-tours are defined as, “responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improve the well-being of local people."
